So decided to purchase a new HDTV and the digital cable topbox. Had problems from the very start, picked up the box on a friday and could not get it to work all weekend, phoned citywest on Monday to explain that there was no signal and was told they had to flick a switch from their end. (Would have been nice to know before I spent countless hours trying to fix this problem on my end) So the digital cable works great for about a week, now I have a green screen on my tv with sound and am able to change the channels but still have the big green screen. I have spent the last few hours reading about this green screen and lot of people have been having the same problem. The box is a motorola dcx 3400hd/dvr, citywest apparently has no idea why this is happening and has never heard of a green screen with a no signal blinking on it. Has anybody had any problems with this, if so, how do I fix it?

return it and opt for shaw direct
