Canada's Environment Minister Jim Prentice has announced that a comprehensive study is the most appropriate type of environmental assessment for the proposed Fairview Terminal Phase II Expansion Project.

His decision today, was based on a number of reports provided to his office, as Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Environment Canada, the Canadian Transportation Agency, as well as the Prince Rupert Port Authority all provided input and recommendations as to the next stage of the Port's development plans...
